Roofsafe Rail

RoofSafe Anchor - Deadweight

The Deadweight Anchor System is a unique safety product. It offers both fall arrest and work restraint capabilities using a series of weights joined to a central plate and anchorage point. The anchors are designed to be placed on an approved roofing surface and in the event of a fall use their counter weight to arrest a worker.

RoofSafe Rail for Composite & Built Up Roof Systems

RoofSafe Rail can be installed directly on to the outer skin of composite and built up metal profiled roof sheets providing they are not fragile and have been verified as structurally suitable either by test or by an engineer. (Minimum material thickness 0.42mm steel and 0.7mm aluminium).

RoofSafe Rail for Zinc Roof Systems

Roofsafe Rail can be installed directly on to the outer skin of zinc seamed roof sheets providing they are not fragile and have been verified as structurally suitable either by test or by an engineer.

RoofSafe Rail for Standing Seam Roof Systems

RoofSafe Rail can be installed directly on to the outer skin of standing seam roof sheets providing they are not fragile and have been verified as structurally suitable either by test or by an engineer. (Minimum material thickness 0.42mm steel and 0.9mm aluminium)


RoofSafe Anchors

RoofSafe Anchors with Force Management Technology allow installation of horizontal lifelines and single anchor points on modern, non-fragile roof structures using minimal penetrations or in some cases no penetrations at all.

RoofSafe Anchors are available for fixing to concrete roofs, hollow concrete roofs, metal decking, plywood decking, standing seam roof systems, secret fix roof systems, built up metal profiled and composite roof systems.

Our technically advanced Force Management Technology permit the use of thin metal roof sheets and other roofing substrates as structural anchors, by limiting the forces that are generated in the event of a fall to less than10kN through a built in energy absorber. What is more they can be fitted from the top of the roof saving installations costs and minimising disruption and intrusion to the building.

The reaction of the anchor re-orientates the load to a more beneficial plane for the roof structure and distributes load through the fixings to ensure the integrity of the roof system is maintained.

The design of the anchor is neat and unobtrusive, limiting the visual impact to the building. Anchors can be colour coated to match the roof finish.

In conjunction with our cable system Uni-8, RoofSafe Anchors with Force Management Technology can support multiple workers for both fall arrest and fall restraint work applications. Roofsafe Anchor for Mineral Felt, Bituminous and Membrane Roof Systems

Roofsafe's technically superior Force Management Anchors permit many built up and composite metal profiled roof systems to be used as structural anchors, by limiting the forces that are generated in the event of a fall to less than10kN through a built in energy absorber.

The design of the anchor is neat and unobtrusive, limiting any visual impact to the building. Anchors are constructed from high grade alloy and can be colour coated to match the roof finish.

RoofSafe Anchors for PVC membrane roof systems

Anchors are constructed from mild steel and have a protective corrosion resistant coating. In addition, the base plates are coated with an approved PVC solution to enable the roofing contractor to directly weld the PVC roof membrane to them. An approved PVC Top Hat is also supplied. The top hat can in turn, be welded to the roof membrane to provide a neat and secure waterproofing detail.

RoofSafe Cable

The Roofsafe Cable System has been designed to complement the Roofsafe Anchor product range, taking advantage of the low system loads generated in the event of a fall. This has enabled Uniline to value engineer its 8mm cable system and deliver the same high standard of quality and functionality that is found in all of our products, but for a much more competitive price. This makes comprehensive roof top safety very affordable and allows companies to more effectively mitigate workplace risk.

The Roofsafe Cable Systems can span up to 12m between anchors and provides continuous hands free access for the user of the system. The system can be used by multiple workers, providing system calculations carried out using our Uniline for Windows software concur.

Roofsafe Cable System components include end anchors, intermediate cable supports, variable cable supports and corner cable supports to allow maximum flexibility in system designs and ensure workers have uncompromised access for all aspects of roof inspection and maintenance. Components, including the 8mm wire rope are made from quality 316 stainless steel. All fabricated parts are further enhanced by electro-polishing to provide strong resistance to corrosion and a long service life
